Really happy to be back after spending 3 adrenaline-laden days at KL.Might be my last trip overseas considering i will be serving my NS come July.Im kinda lost of what happen back home so any of you guys can tell me what happen in Singapore since i left?Anyway i will post the pictures soon(i promise!..maybe tomorrow) if i have the time considering i got quite a lot of stuff to clear.Time for me to catch up on sleep as well!..Semper Fidelis Afro!!

The thought of me slacking at home gone in the air when chinaman told me about his plan to go swimming with nana.His first choice was boon lay and i agreed.The venue then changed to yew tee and finally to Toa Payoh after nana made her choice.I waited for them like for 45min!!..Bloody hell!!.Made our way towards the pool and i noticed nana bringing quite a large bag.I thought she was going scuba diving with the bag she had! She explained that she brought along her floating board.

Swim for about 1.5 hr and asked chinaman to teach me breastroke as i got difficulty getting the technique.Wanted to go to the deep pool cos wanted to practice my water threading technique but was hampered went the whole pool is used up by students for training.Really hope i dont get posted as Coast Guard!!

Went to Fork n Spoon to have our dinner and meet Shahreen from there.After that went to McDonald and played the forfeit game...again!..This time the terrible duo of chinaman and nana used wasabi as the forfeit.To be honest i can take the tangy and sharp sensation cos i love spicy food but i dont like the taste.It was horrible!Took quite a lot of wasabi and i developed the technique of putting it in the middle of the tongue and collecting my saliva before swallowing it.Hey presto!!..it worked!!Thanks nana for the horrible idea of using wasabi!!..Semper Fidelis Afro! Medal Of Honor(MOH) is back!For those of you unfamiliar with the game it is a First person shooter based on WW2.Previous installment of the game ie Pacific Assault that i played before is superb and cant wait for the new installment.Its title is MOH:Airborne.Its game level is based on Operation Husky and later on Varsity.Whats new in this game is how the game start is based on where you land.So get ready to shoot and kill germans on 27 August 07.My only gripe is that i wont know when i will get to play it since i will be inside camp by then.Semper Fidelis Afro!!

I was working on Saturday night and the last flight that i got was on 11.10.Bloody hell!!..the plane is filled with cargos and mails and to make matter worse,we had to search for transit cargos.I tell you, the chinaman who arranged the cargo(the plane was from China) just chucked the cargo everywhere!The uncle who i worked with kept on cursing the chinaman and although he himself is a chinese,he said he didnt like chinaman!.Finish unloading the plane at around 11.55pm.Quickly took my bag and make an exit.

I took bus no 24 as if i were to take 27 and alight at Tampines,i will surely miss 21 and futhermore if i were to stop at Bedok Interchange, 228 last bus is at 1230 and the bus USUALLY comes around 1240.So i gamble on this and boy was i wrong!Arrived at Bedok at 1225 and to my horror,228 just left its parking bay and going staright to pick up the passengers!I ran as fast as possible but to no avail.I miss the last bus!!!arghhh!!

I glanced at my watch and it was 1230.Bloody SBS,usually when i waited for 228 it usually comes at 1240.Dont know why the driver comes so early this time.So i  weigh my options.
Either take cab or walk home.Considering i had no cash on me, i choose the latter.Switch on my mp3 on off i went.Funny thing was it was kinda realaxing to walk at night!With the night breeze and no choking smoke from vehicles.The reservoir too look nice during night with the lighting.
I then thought it will be perfect to jog during this time.Anyway,learnt my lesson and will 
bring extra cash next time!Afro Out!!

Sad day today for Villains everywhere as Angel have confirm his move to NY Red Bulls.Although not featured regularly, he started this season and the likes of Gabby,Carew,Moore and Young have pushed him down the pecking order.

Bought from River Plate for 9.5mil pounds after the now infamous "pound" demonstration by Villa fans aimed at deadly doug.He duly paid that faith with 23 goals and Villa narrowly misses on UEFA spot to Newcastle due to goals difference.He was a true professional as although he was homesick,he didnt whine but instead learn and adapt the english culture.Martin O'Neill also praises his attitude as although he didnt get many chance to play he still did his best during training.

Thank you for your 6 seasons of service to the club.Your name will forever be among the Villa legends.

Arghh!!..Feel like screaming my heart out after hearing that the trip is postpone.More about that later.
Sunday happen like everyday else with Aston Villa winning away again(Yea!) that put them well above the relegation zone.Although Boro took the lead we fought back.Villa have now come from behind 10 times in top flight matches this season - only Arsenal can top that and that is really an amazing statistics!As a Villa fan really look forward to next season under the guidance of O'Neill and the deep coffers of Learner.
Well back to the topic,Shahreen told me the the trip is postpone to next month as he said he is low on cash and his friend who is wanted to join us backed out.I was feeling frustrated as was looking forward to this trip ages now.On the bright side, maybe the other guys can join us although there is a possibility of me going NS.Well, i have come to terms with it and anyone who wishes to join us is welcome!..Afro Out!!

Yesterday was about honor,Today is about justice.Well thats the tagline of the movie that i watched today.Went with Dennis,Haja and Nana to catch it at Orchard Cineleisure.The movie is filled with shooting scenes and explosion!.It maybe technical in some parts especially the early stages like how the wind direction affects bullets movement etc but in the end the whole concept of the movie is you bastard me and you die!Great sniper action and mark walhberg acting is believable considering he was taught by a retired USMC officer on handling weapons.There is even a cameo by Lane Garrison (Tweener in Prison Break)as his spotter and best mate.Overall will give the movie 4/5!Afro Outta!

What?Cage?what is it?Well basically it is a shophouse converted into a indoor football pitch.The area is the size of a futsal pitch.Pictures below.

The playing area

The grass is synthetic turf and is the same found at St Wilfried if you have played there before. Major european clubs like Barcelona, Werder Bremen and Arsenal uses that turf at their training ground. As for me it is definitely nice to play on the turf as it is good for sliding!!and you wont feel itchy unlike normal grass field.Whats good about the Cage is that you can play it under sweltering sun or heavy rain without any problem.

We played for 4 hrs today and since they got student promo, we only pay for the 2 hrs while the other 2 hrs is free!!Yes you seen correctly its free!!Overall i only paid $4 which was worth it.My early team comprises of azhar,haja,two of azhar's friends and ariff.Won like 2-3 games(cant remember exactly).I scored two goals where one of the goals is worthy contender for goals of the season!..But seriously,didnt expect the ball to swoosh past the keeper the moment it left my boot.The ball went to the top left hand corner of the post.Magnificent im telling you!.Too bad nobody capture it on video or else i could have posted it!

Enough of me..as for my other team-mates, happy being able to play with them especially Mr Prata..Haja.If only i got his stamina!Damn..he keep running and running and almost scored a goal!Ariff with his 'gentel' which is his trademark.His gentel will definitely bring him places someday.Well thats all for today adventure..Afro Out!

An eventful wednesday i had today.Check my results in the morning and must say a little surprise to get the grades for some of my modules especially POM.Then in the afternoon went to RP with Haja to finish up my enrolment to RP.It really pisses me off as i did not receive the enrolment letter and the officer told me that they face some "problem" in letter delivery in the Bedok area...whatever that means.But thank goodness they told me the enrolment letter is not that important. Since i did not know what course i was getting,the officer scan my ic and told me that i got in the Sports And Exercise Science.Really happy cos many of my ITE mates are goin there as well.Although they have to wait for 2 years for me to rock their world..hehe.

Finally all of the pieces have fallen together.After NS i need not worry about what to do as RP as reserve a place for me.After the diploma, plan to take coaching license and hopefully let nature takes it course.

Woke up especially early today although just got back home from work late Saturday night. Got 6 hrs of sleep before waking up at 720am. Meet up with Masrin at Yishun mrt station because i didnt know where the field is located.On the way to meet Azhar, saw the field was in a terrible state considering it rain there earlier on. We waited for shahreen and the opponent to come.The game started around 1230 considering other teams were using the field.Yours truly played in defence and honestly was expecting a challenge.They comply albeit for the first 10 minutes before we came all over them. We were 5-1 at halftime and a during 2nd half when we were 8-1 up i could sense they were demoralise.Frustration got the better of them and scuffle broke out late in the game.

IMO we played well but was disappointed we let in one goal.How did i fare?Well i gave myself a 6.5/10 cos honestly its been a long time since i played field football.Went home straight after that as my body is covered with mud and i have to soak my stuff that are covered with mud as well.Definitely was a great Sunday!..Afro out!!Btw anyone who want to play football come down to the Cage 9 April.See ya there!
