The draw for the 3rd Qualifying Round for the WC was announce this morning.Singapore managed to steer away from the like of China,Iran and South Korea.Instead in come Saudi Arabia.The group is completed with Lebanon and Uzbekistan.My heart said that we CAN qualify from the group but my brain say the opposite.Realistically, we have to take this opportunity to upgrade ourself to their own standard.We can be the kingpin of ASEAN soccer for 10 years running but it comes to nothing when we cant stand on par with Asia best.As such hopefully young players will get the opportunity to play in the group stages and give them exposure which we sorely lack.

Back to the group,i have the Lions will give their opponents a fight for the money and show that we are not minnows in football.We knows we can even shock them!Remember Singapore 2 Iraq 0?
So people lend them our support!!Majulah Singapura!!

Was very fortunate to be involved in the recently concluded ASEAN Summit.Although some of my weekends was burnt,i really learn something from the deployment.It was no joke having to secure the area where the delegates were staying and sometimes it was tiring as well.Luckily the hotel staff was very helpful and i even managed to talk to some of them regarding the hotel and their work.Seem that most of them are foreign students who are attached to the hotel as porter.
I must say,after spending months in TRACOM,nothing beats a experience like this.Will gladly take another deployment although it is another 12 hr shift!

2007 seems to be a good year for PC gamer enthusiast as more brilliant games are out.After Bioshock,titles like Call of Duty 4,Crysis and Gears of War have been released.The game are bound to push the limit of my computer,as such i have to upgrade it!Well on the plus side,its about time i do so as computer are now run by either duo or quad core.
